Policies:

Policies: In order to accommodate our client's particular scheduling needs we endeavor to be as flexible as possible. However, from a business standpoint this has to be balanced against keeping studio idle-time to a minimum. To this end we employ the following practices.

Payment: A 50% deposit is required to schedule a recording session (half of the total estimated cost) a minimum of two weeks in advance of the session. The remaining balance is to be paid in full before the sessions first date. All studio time must be paid for in advance of the session except by prior written agreements by a legal representative of Nate Giller Productions. No exceptions. We accept cash or check (all checks must clear the bank before the first session begins so allow enough lead time for that to happen).  All returned checks would be charged an additional $100 for a processing fee.

Extended sessions: As many of our Nate Giller Productions clients have already discovered, creating in the studio can be an exciting, rewarding and productive experience. Many times a client will elect to extend their time in the studio once they see how well their project is coming together. Extended sessions requiring additional studio time must be paid for in advance of the session.

Schedule changes: We understand that things happen and we do our best to work with a client should schedule changes be required. As a general rule, cancellations and reschedules must be made a minimum of five full working days before your scheduled session. Hopefully this will allow us enough time to reschedule the studio. If you cancel the session without sufficient time for us to re-book the studio, it stands to reason that you will forfeit, at the very least a portion of your fees paid for that session.

Minuteman rate: In the rare event that studio time becomes available due to a client reschedule, we offer this time at a discounted rate to those who are willing to be ready at a moments notice. Call it our Minuteman Rate. This is to keep the studio booked in the event of a reschedule, and helps those willing to come in at a moments notice by offering them studio time at a discounted rate.

Taxes: Client(s) are responsible for all Federal, State, and Local taxes in conjunction with any work done with Nate Giller Productions.  Any and all Federal, State, and Local tax laws are the responsibility of the client, as Nate Giller Productions offers a service that is not a taxable product.  If there is a taxable product that Nate Giller Productions offers, then clients may be required to fill out a W-9 form for tax purposes and/or pay sales tax.

Liability things (terms and conditions): We recognize the importance of your recorded material.  Nate Giller Productions will, however, not be held responsible for lost, damaged, or any other matter which any hard drive, amplifier, instrument, or any other physical device is used or left in the possession of Nate Giller Productions, their employees, contractors, etc.  Any such materials will be the sole responsibility of the client.  We try to keep all studio gear in perfect working order, but as things do fail Nate Giller Productions will not be held responsible for lost items such as a hard drive fail.  Back-ups will be the client’s responsibility.  By booking studio time we assume that you have read these terms and conditions and agree fully to them.  All decisions of Nate Giller Productions are final.  Void where prohibited.
